Richter Smart Acupuncture

Diagnose. Needle. Retest.

Precise diagnosis. Targeted acupuncture.

Every course gives you at least one acupuncture skill you can use with your next patient.

In each course a clear diagnostic sign tells you where to treat, and the treatment uses only the points that sign calls for. I teach only what I use with my own patients in a busy clinic in Poland.

  • 25 years of acupuncture practice
  • 500+ practitioners trained in 17 countries
  • 14-day guarantee on every course

Diagnosis by movement

The painful movement shows you the meridian

For pain and movement disorders. You test the movement before and after two points, and the patient feels the difference in their own body.

筋

The Chain: Movement Diagnosis and Two-Point Treatment

This course teaches you to treat movement disorders: pain and tension that limit how a patient moves. You find the cause by analyzing the painful movement in six phases, and you treat it with two precisely chosen acupuncture points.

Diagnosis
Movement analysis in six phases for each region of the body. The phase that fails shows you the sinew meridian.
Treatment
Two points on that meridian.
Result
The change is often felt within a minute, before the patient gets up. You confirm it by repeating the same movement test.

16 video lessons, about 70 minutes, a printable workbook.

Diagnosis by the pulse

The pulse tells you where to treat, and confirms the change

Pulse Diagnosis is the foundation. The other four courses in this group build on the same twelve positions.

脉

Pulse Diagnosis: The Twelve Positions

This course teaches you to read the pulse in twelve positions and turn what you feel into a treatment decision.

Diagnosis
Twelve positions on the wrist, each assessed for strength, tension and filling.
Treatment
What to strengthen first and what to reduce, in what order.
Result
You check the same position after needling and feel whether the treatment changed it.

17 video lessons, just over one hour, a printable workbook.

Strong and Weak Meridians: The Patient Who Reacts to Stress the Same Way Every Time

This course teaches you to read a patient's strong and weak meridian from the year of birth and know where to start.

Diagnosis
The strong sign shows what the patient overuses under stress. The weak sign shows where to start.
Direction
A few minutes of history-taking and you know which meridian to work on.
For the patient
A simple daily exercise for each of the twelve signs, small enough that patients actually do it.

Stems and Branches Acupuncture: The Complete System

This course teaches you to treat the whole person by reading a birth chart on four levels. The pulse confirms which level needs work today, and each level has its own points.

Read
A date of birth gives you four levels of the chart: the great movement, the stem, the branch and the division.
Treat
The pulse tells you which level to work on today, and you choose the points for that level.
Advise
For every element, stem and branch you hear what I tell the patient, so they leave with one thing to practice.

77 lessons, 10.7 hours, in six modules. Take the full course or start with one module.

The patient
The twelve Luo meridians as stages of consciousness, and what excess and deficiency of each look like in a patient.
Treatment
The Luo point for each stage, and five ways to combine Luo points with each other and with Yuan and Xi-Cleft points.

How well does it work?

Sometimes acupuncture creates change during the treatment itself, though not in every patient. That is why most methods come with their own check, done in the same visit, so you see the result instead of hoping for it.

The movementThe same movement test, repeated after two points.
The pulseThe same position, felt again after needling.
The tableSigns that the treatment has landed while the patient is still lying down.
The hourThe symptom's own time of day shows whether it changed.
