Michał Richter is a medical doctor, licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an experienced teacher. He graduated from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice and completed his TCM education in China, UK, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands — including a clinical internship at one of the top universities in China.

For over 25 years, he has been treating patients exclusively with acupuncture. Every day in his clinic, he performs more than 20 treatments, combining precise pulse diagnosis with carefully selected points to help his patients recover their health. He specializes in working with both adults and children, and his approach focuses on minimal, targeted stimulation and clear, measurable results.

Michał has trained under some of the most respected classical acupuncture masters, including Rani Ayal and Joan Duveen, deepening his understanding of energy flow, diagnostic subtleties, and the Stems & Branches system, which he considers the foundation for individualized and effective treatment.

Since 2009, he has also been teaching acupuncturists and physiotherapists. His courses are designed to give clear, actionable knowledge and techniques that actually work — not just theory. He is known for his clarity, structured teaching, and his ability to connect theory and clinical practice in a way students can immediately apply.

Through Shifen Smart Acupuncture, he continues to support practitioners around the world in developing their skills and confidence in the clinic.
