CLINICAL ACUPUNCTURE by Dr. Michal Richter
Dynamic Acupuncture™ · Source Point Regulation

Read one thing on the pulse. Needle one source point. Know, minutes later, that it worked — before the patient leaves.

Your school taught you the pulse in a term — twenty-eight qualities, one exam — and then left you alone with it. Most of us walked out with “slippery and wiry” and a best guess. This course gives you the know-how instead: you learn to feel with your fingertips, to find the twelve positions — and so to know what is happening in the twelve meridians — and to name the one that is weakest. It is a narrow skill, and that is exactly why it can be learned properly, online, in a few evenings.

Then it puts that skill to work: the Jing and the yuan points you memorised years ago become a treatment you can verify inside the same appointment — a number before, one source point, the number again. You stop hoping. You check.

Thirty-three seconds, one visit

He gives me a number.
Then, minutes later, he gives it again.

Nothing here is arranged for the camera. A number before anything is done. The procedure, inside an ordinary appointment. Then the same question again. Listen to what he says the second time — and notice that he answers before I finish asking.

Dominik — pain running from the right hip down to the knee, a few days old. His face is blurred; the answers are his own, uncut. English subtitles throughout. The complete treatment is inside the course.

The skill your school skipped

You know the twelve positions. Nobody taught you to trust what your fingers found.

You take the pulse because you should — and then choose the points you always choose. Nobody sees it. You do. Pulse diagnosis is usually crammed into a foundations course: a table of qualities, a few sessions on a classmate’s wrist, an exam. After graduation many practitioners quietly stop taking it — not because it does not work, but because nobody showed them a version narrow enough to be reliable. So point selection drifts back to habit, and “why did that one treatment work so well?” stays a private question.

  • One comparison, not twenty-eight qualities. The method asks a single question of the pulse: which of the twelve positions is the weakest right now? You are not classifying. You are comparing. That is learnable in evenings, not years — and it is the level at which the pulse becomes repeatable between two practitioners.
  • Taught online, in the order that works. Pulse Essentials — eight short lessons, 29 minutes — gives you the know-how: how to feel with your fingertips, how to find all twelve positions, what each one tells you about its meridian, and how to name the weakest. Practise on whoever sits in front of you this week. Then the method starts.
  • It unlocks what you already know. Jing as the blueprint, Yuan Qi as its distribution, the yuan point as the interface — you learned it, you can quote it, and you have probably never used it on purpose. The weakest position tells you which source point to needle. One reading, one point. The theory finally has a hand to act with.
  • And the pulse gives you the answer back. Minutes after the needle, you take the same twelve positions again. The weakest one has evened out or it has not — and your patient gives you her own number on top. Two readings, one visit, no waiting for next week.
Already read the pulse? Then everything this method needs, you have — take the method alone. Not yet, or not with confidence? Take it with Pulse Essentials, one price, in the order that works. Both options are below.

The practitioner you become

What changes in your treatment room:
confidence that comes from a check, not from a mood.

There are two kinds of confident acupuncturists. One has decided to sound sure. The other has a way of finding out. After twenty-five years I only trust the second kind — and it is the only kind a course can give you, because it is built from a procedure, not a personality.

  • You choose the point from the pulse, not from habit — and stop second-guessing it. Your fingertips found the weakest position; the source point follows from it. The decision was made by the reading, so you do not carry it home — and nobody needs to know you ever guessed.
  • You find out today, not in two weeks. The re-test happens while the patient is still with you. No more “let’s see how you feel next week” — and no more wondering, after she leaves, whether anything happened.
  • You have a sentence for the sceptic on the table. “Give me a number now. I will ask again in a few minutes.” Nothing to believe in advance; the visit does the arguing — and the patient feels the change before she pays.
  • You can explain the mechanism in one sentence. Jing Qi carries the blueprint, Yuan Qi distributes it, the yuan point is the interface. Say it to a patient or to a physician and it holds up.
  • You can say “this is not the tool for that” without losing the patient. The same check that shows improvement shows the limit. A method whose limits you can see is a method you can defend — practitioners who name limits keep patients.
  • The pulse stops being a ritual and becomes an instrument. Taken before, taken after, every visit — because now it answers a question you actually asked.

What it is for

What I reach for it with in my own clinic — and when it comes before The Chain

The Chain works on the sinew meridians — on movement. Dynamic Acupuncture works one level deeper: it restores the connection between the primary meridians and Jing, the body’s source information. In the other language: it re-establishes the link between the central nervous system and the body, so organs and structures start receiving the signal they were meant to receive. Old patterns are overwritten by correct ones — from the source. In practice, these are the patients I take the pulse for and reach for a yuan point:

  • The patient is better in general, but one symptom will not leave. The tennis elbow that survives a good base treatment. The headache that comes back every time. The stomach that reacts to everything. The movement was corrected on the re-test and is back on Thursday — the pattern that produces it was not touched. This is the yuan-point patient.
  • Pain that keeps returning — including the one that arrives as an attack. Recurrent headache and migraine are among the situations the course addresses in its lesson on special cases. In my own clinic I have stopped a migraine attack this way three times so far — twice within minutes of the needle, once a few hours later. Three cases, stated as three cases, not a promise; what it does for your patient, the re-test will tell you.
  • The complaint has no movement to test. Digestion, sleep, energy, cycles, breathing, the “nothing specific, I just don’t feel well” patient. There is no six-phase test for that — there is a pulse, and the pulse tells you which position is weakest.
  • The reaction is bigger than the stimulus. Irritability, tension, low mood, a startle at ordinary events, the body that stays braced long after a difficult experience. Dynamic Acupuncture regulates the system that sets the response — and psychological stress works as the diagnostic stimulus just as physical pain does. The patient usually reports the shift before leaving the room.
  • The patient who came for the shoulder — and mentions the abdomen on the way out. The first case I ever treated this way came with a shoulder. The shoulder moved; so did a stomach ache she had carried for three weeks and had not mentioned. This is not a method “for the shoulder” — it regulates the whole system, and the second change is often the one the patient remembers.
  • The Chain worked — and you want it to hold. The Chain for the movement, Dynamic Acupuncture for the pattern underneath. Same visit, a few minutes more.
Which one? The patient can show you the movement that hurts → The Chain. The patient is better, but one symptom keeps coming back — or there is no movement to test → Dynamic Acupuncture. Both → The Chain first, then Dynamic Acupuncture, same visit.

To be exact about what this list is: cases from my clinic and from the course, not promises for a diagnosis. Nineteen of nineteen felt a change at the first public test; around two hundred treatments since. Not every pattern moves in one visit — and the course spends a whole lesson on what to do when it does not. The re-test inside the visit is how you find out what it did for the patient in front of you.

The method

One deliberate act: restoring the connection
between the primary meridians and Jing.

Most of us have said “sometimes it works and I can’t tell you why”. The missing piece is not technique — it is a check inside the visit. This is the mechanism behind the check.

Factory Settings — Why the Yuan Points Work

Lesson 2 of 8 — the theory, complete and uncut; the protocol itself is in lessons 5 and 6. Open it on the platform — no signup, no card.

Not stimulation — regulation, and a deliberate one. The yuan points are where the information of Jing reaches the primary meridians: the place the central nervous system and the periphery meet. Most of us use those points in passing. Used on purpose, they are not a symptom address; they are the link itself.

Read it in the other language and it is the same event. Restore that link and what travels out from the central nervous system along the peripheral nerves changes — the tissue and the organ start receiving the signal they were meant to receive. Which is why what moves is function: the joint and the muscle first, because those you can test on the spot, and often something the patient reports from the inside as well.

And this is why the effect is fast. The nervous system has factory settings, and the yuan points are the interface to them. The energy changes first; the functional change follows within minutes. That is what makes a re-test in the same visit possible at all, and it is the whole reason this protocol is built around one.

You do not have to take that on my word. Heart-rate-variability work published in 2025 recorded acupuncture modulating vagal and sympathetic activity in real time, with the shift still measurable five to ten minutes after the session.1 The classics said the same thing in different words. What neither of them gives you is a way to check it on the patient in front of you — that is what this course is for.

You already know the meridians. What you get here is the second reading of the same event, in the language of the nervous system — and a way to watch it happen while the patient is still in the room.

DIAGNOSIS
The body answers, you don't guess

The course teaches a diagnostic step that makes the meridian in trouble reveal itself — so point selection becomes a reading rather than a preference.

TREATMENT
One yuan point at a time

Chosen from the pulse, not from a chart — and repeated until the pulse evens out. No long prescriptions, no needling by committee.

VERIFICATION
The check is inside the visit

Your patient re-tests the movement herself, minutes later, and gives you her own number. You do not wait two weeks to find out.

INTEGRATION
Nothing to unlearn

It sits inside the system you already practise. Run your base treatment; if the symptom has not moved, add this.

Why the re-test works

“The energy changes immediately. We only wait for the functional change.”

— Dr. Michal Richter · MD, acupuncturist · from the closing lesson of this course

The first public test

Nineteen people who had no reason to be kind about it

A yoga workshop, not my clinic. Nineteen participants, none of them my patients. Several said out loud, before I started, that they did not believe in acupuncture. I worked through them one after another in a small room, on two chairs, and asked each one the same question afterwards.

19 / 19

All nineteen reported a change. Around two hundred treatments have followed since.

To be exact about what that is and is not: nineteen people at one workshop, self-reported, on the day. Not a controlled trial, and not a claim that it works for everything. It is the reason I stopped treating this as a private habit and started teaching it.

A case report from my own clinic

She told me what was still there.
I could tell her why.

Sprained ankle, eight days old. She arrived in an elastic bandage, walking with a cane. Before I did anything I asked her to move the foot and give me her own rating. Then the procedure. Then the same question again — same visit, minutes apart. She rated it lower, then stood up, walked, and bent down to the floor.

Then she mentioned one thing that was still there — not the pain she came in with, which had dropped substantially, but an odd sensation in the muscle above the joint. And I could tell her exactly what it was: after days of guarding that ankle, the tissue around it is simply tired. It is not the problem I treated, and it needs a little time, not another needle. That is the part I want you to notice. A method you can verify in the same visit is also a method whose findings you can explain out loud — to your patient, in the room, without guessing.

The full session is in the course, uncut — including that exchange.

This is what the evidence looks like. Nineteen out of nineteen participants at the first public test, around two hundred treatments since, and sessions on camera where you can watch the numbers change and hear the limits named out loud. Is it one hundred percent for everything? No — nobody has invented such a method, and neither have I. But you will know immediately whether it worked.

Who teaches it

A physician who uses this daily, on his own patients.

Dr. Michal Richter, MD

I am Dr. Michal Richter, MD — a medical doctor and acupuncturist with 25 years of exclusive clinical practice in Katowice, Poland, treating 20 to 30 patients a day.

I developed Dynamic Acupuncture myself, out of the integration of classical acupuncture with neuroscience, and tested it on my own patients before testing it publicly. In the first public test — a yoga workshop, nineteen participants, some of whom said openly that they did not believe in acupuncture — nineteen out of nineteen felt a change.

What this normally costs you

A certification programme in a single method$1,200–4,400
A weekend seminar, plus travel and two days out of your clinic$400–800+

You are paying for a repeatable procedure with a verification step, not for hours of video. At 20 patients a day this costs you less than half of one working morning — and you use it on the first patient who sits down afterwards. The protocol does not expire, and neither does your access.

The First Patient Guarantee — 14 days

Watch the course. Run the protocol on a real patient. Re-test her. If within 14 days you decide it adds nothing to your practice, send one sentence to the address on your purchase confirmation and I refund the full amount. No forms. No questions. That email comes to me, not to a support system.

The guarantee is built the same way the method is: you do not have to take my word for it, you run the test yourself.

What you are probably thinking right now

“I have bought courses before and never used them.”

So have I, and that is why this one is built backwards from the treatment table. Eight short lessons, one protocol, a cheat sheet you print and keep beside you. Most students watch the whole thing in one evening and run it on a patient the next day. There is nothing to schedule and no library to admire.

“I do not have time to learn another method.”

Then this is the right shape of thing. Eight short lessons in one evening, one protocol, one printed sheet. You are not adding a system to your practice — you are adding a check to a visit you are already doing.

“My pulse diagnosis is not good enough for this.”

It probably is. You do not need twenty-eight qualities — you need to find which of the twelve positions is the weakest, and the course shows you how to make that one stand out clearly. It is a narrow skill, and most practitioners reach that level in a day or two of practice. If you want it taught properly from zero, Dynamic Acupuncture + Pulse Essentials puts those eight lessons in front of the method — and the full 12 Positions pulse diagnosis course can be added to this order at the checkout, at a price that exists only there.

“Is the price I see the price I pay?”

Yes. The price on this page is the total, wherever you are — all taxes, including EU VAT, are already included, so the amount you see here is the amount on your card. One payment, lifetime access.

Questions practitioners ask

The seven that come up before someone enrols — answered plainly.

What do I need to know before I start?

One narrow skill: finding which of the twelve pulse positions is the weakest. You do not need twenty-eight qualities or years of pulse study. If you do not read the pulse yet, take Dynamic Acupuncture + Pulse Essentials instead — one course, one price, $239. Pulse Essentials is eight short lessons that take you from zero to finding all twelve positions, so you learn the skill and the method in the order that works.

Can I see how I teach before I buy?

Yes — three lessons are open as free previews, no signup, no card: Introduction — Nineteen out of Nineteen, Factory Settings — Why the Yuan Points Work, and from Pulse Essentials Train Your Fingers — Sensitivity Drills. Watch them first and decide whether the way I teach suits you.

I practise TCM, Five Elements or Stems and Branches. Will it fit?

Yes — that is the design. The method is independent of style and asks you to abandon nothing. Run your base treatment; if the symptom has not moved, add this. Sometimes it stands alone as a treatment in its own right.

Has this been tested outside your own clinic?

Yes — that was the point of the public workshop. Nineteen participants, none of them my patients, several of whom said openly that they did not believe in acupuncture. All nineteen reported a change. That is nineteen people at one workshop, not a controlled trial, and around two hundred treatments have followed since.

Why $169 for a short course?

You are paying for a repeatable procedure with a verification step, not for hours of video. A weekend seminar costs four to eight hundred dollars plus travel and two days out of your clinic; two or three patient visits where you apply this cover the course entirely.

What is the refund policy?

Fourteen days, full amount, no questions. Watch the course, use it on a real patient, re-test her. If you decide it adds nothing to your practice, send one sentence to the address on your purchase confirmation — that email comes to me, not to a support system.

Do I get a certificate or CEU/PDA credits?

No, and that is deliberate. This course teaches a clinical skill, and the proof is not paperwork — it is your patient giving you a different number at the end of the visit. If you need CE credit, this is not the right course.

The next patient sits down,
and either you are guessing or you are reading.

The pulse skill your school skipped, the source point it names, and a re-check minutes later. A procedure you can repeat, and whose limits you can name. You’re invited.

P.S. The short version: one deliberate act — restoring the connection between the primary meridians and Jing. The yuan points are the interface, the nervous system is the same event read in the other language, and this course teaches the protocol that uses it — with the verification step built into the visit, so your patient tells you whether it worked before she leaves. Eight lessons, filmed sessions, a printable cheat sheet and an 18-page workbook, English subtitles throughout. $169 once, lifetime access. Nineteen out of nineteen felt a change in the first public test; around two hundred treatments since. Not one hundred percent for everything — but you will know immediately whether it worked, and if after 14 days it adds nothing to your practice, one sentence gets you the full amount back.
